New tilapia feed to benefit Ghana aquaculture

Aquaxcel, a premium micro-extruded starter feed formulated for fingerlings and Aquafeed meant to ensure optimal growth in tilapia are manufactured by Cargill Feed and Nutrition United States Aquaculture (CFN USA Aquaculture).

Delivering a presentation on tilapia nutrition and best practice management at the launch, Claudio Paredes, Aquaculture Business Development Manager of CFN USA.

Aquaculture, said the products were from ingredients that reflected the nutrients required by fish.

“Indeed the products guarantee fast growth, high survival and more profit,” he assured.

He said their disciplined scientific approach to tilapia nutrition ensured that their feed yielded consistent results, maximized cost reduction and minimized waste and uniform growth of fish.
