Norway Royal Salmon goes public

Norway Royal Salmon ASA on Tuesday listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (Oslo Børs), its fourth listing in 2011.

Company representatives rang the opening bell and then gave a short presentation.

Norway Royal Salmon ASA will be listed on Oslo Børs under the ticker NRS.?The farmed salmon and trout producer holds a total of 25 fish-farming licenses through four subsidiaries and has minority stakes in four fish-farming companies with a total of nine fish-farming licenses, two slaughterhouses and two smolt-producing facilities.

Norway Royal Salmon produced approximately 10,700 metric tons of fish last year and expects to harvest 21,500 metric tons in 2011. The company sold approximately 50,000 metric tons of fish to 49 countries in 2010.
