Tassal Group Ltd expects its Australian market share to continue expanding and will seek to grow brand awareness through a major marketing campaign, despite reporting a fall in net profit for the full year.
In the 12 months to June 30, Tassal's net profit dropped 7.2 percent to AUD 28.1 million, from AUD 30.3 million in the previous corresponding period.
The salmon farmer's revenue grew 16 per cent to AUD 261.7 million, up from AUD 225.6 million last year.
Tassal will pay a final unfranked dividend of four cents, taking the total dividend for the year to eight cents.
