People moves round-up: Jan Tharp gets new gig, Derek Sarno leaves Tesco

  • Jan Tharp has been appointed president of San Diego, California U.S.A.-based Infinium Spirits Inc. Tharp stepped down from position as CEO of Bumble Bee Seafoods on 1 July, 2022. Prior to the CEO position, Tharp was with Bumble Bee for 12 years, where she worked as senior vice president of global operations and became president and CEO.

  • Jack Lombard has left his position at Portland, Maine, U.S.A-based Ready Seafood and joined Mazzetta, where he will become the senior director of sales. According to his LinkedIn, Lombard shared he was with Ready Seafood for 3 years and 8 months. "He brings a wealth of seafood experience and seems like a great person and a great guy. So we're excited to have him part of the team," Mazzetta Vice President of Operations Joe Chekouras told SeafoodSource.

  • Derek Sarno has departed his position at U.K. retailer Tesco as its director of plant-based Innovation, according to a statement released by Tesco.

  • After almost 20 years, Cedicio Torres has left Brasmar. Torres worked at the company as a corporate sales director beginning in 2003, according to his LinkedIn profile.
