Three more Alaska seafood companies have been certified under the Food and Agriculture Organization-based Responsible Fisheries Management (RFM) program.
The companies, American Seafoods Co., Blue North Trading Co. and Orca Bay Seafoods, have received RFM chain-of-custody certification, according to the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute.
The companies according to the institute, “recognize the RFM certification as a credible, robust and cost-effective choice for their customers.”
