Inland Seafood has earned its Safe Quality Food 2000 Level 3 Certification from the Global Food Safety Initiative, placing it in a category of seafood processors with the highest standards of food safety and quality management.
SQF 2000 Level 3 is the highest ranking, globally recognized certification in the industry. In business for 35 years, Atlanta-based Inland is the largest seafood distributor in the U.S. Southeast.
“Our goal in maintaining relationships with our customers is to be able to assure them that they are buying the highest quality products available,” said Chris Rosenburger, the company’s president. “To do so, safety and quality control must be present in every aspect of business.”
Inland’s operations and production department and the entire management team have implemented food safety and quality control systems as well as special employee training modules so that customers can be assured that the products they are buying from Inland Seafood have been produced in the safest, most sanitary conditions, with internal quality audits performed every step of the way.
With its Level 3 Certification, Inland is now among a very small number of companies with the accomplishment of adding the SQF Level 3 Trade Mark to all of their certified products.
