Shellfish spread recalled on Listeria fears

Seafood spreads manufacturer Goldcoast Salads is recalling Blue Crab Spread, Maine Lobster Spread, Lobster and Shrimp Spread, and Smoked Salmon Spread that may be contaminated with Listeria, according to the West Virginia Department of Agriculture.??

Goldcoast products are sold in Sam’s Clubs, Martin’s and Giant stores, among others, and these products may have been distributed in West Virginia.

Goldcoast says to return the products to the point of purchase. Consumers with questions about the recall should call 239-513-0430.
