Rochester, New York, U.S.A.-based food supplier One Frozen is voluntarily recalling certain lots of its Southwest-Style Burrito Bowl Blend products that are sold under Target’s Good & Gather brand due to the possible presence of shrimp that was not declared on the ingredient label.
“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to shellfish run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product,” One Frozen said.
The recall was initiated after three consumer complaints indicated the possible presence of shrimp. No illnesses have yet been reported.
More than 57,000 packages of Southwest-Style Burrito Bowl Blend, sold in 12-ounce bags, were distributed through Target stores across all 50 U.S. states. One Frozen began distributing the products to Target on 17 April 2025.
Affected lots include L5055-1, L5055-2, L5055-3, L5055-4, L5055-5, and L5055-6, with a best buy date of 24 August 2026.
Consumers who purchased the affected lots are advised to not eat the product and contact Target Guest Relations for a full refund.
