5 spellbinding seafood dishes for Halloween

Halloween Recipe 4.jpg2.) Wild Alaska Seafood Halloween Chowder

Those who’ve eaten chowder featuring wild Alaska seafood such as salmon, pollock, king crab and Pacific cod, know of its potion-like ability to put stomachs in a trance.

The recipe, which requires the chowder to be served in mini pumpkins instead of bowls or mugs, takes 25 minutes to prepare and 35 minutes to cook. The skill level required to create the dish is rated as “Easy” by the Food Network, meaning even first-time mages can make such magic with finesse.

The dish as listed serves three, and calls for three mini pumpkins to be scooped out, with their tops and bases brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with chili flakes so they can bake properly in the oven for 25 minutes.
