Alaska pollock added to FireRoasters line

Fishery Products International on Monday announced the expansion of its FireRoasters line of flame-seared fish fillets.

The line now includes two Alaska pollock flavors — Citrus Peppercorn and Southwest Style. The Citrus Peppercorn Alaska Pollock Fillets are made with lemon, cracked peppercorn and roasted garlic. The Southwest Style Alaska Pollock Fillets feature a blend of chili peppers, ginger, onion, garlic and chopped cilantro.

The products are available in 4-ounce servings and are made with domestically sourced and processed Alaska pollock.

“These two new FireRoasters items offer an unbeatable combination of unique flavor, nutritional benefits, and cost effectiveness, making them an excellent fit for all foodservice operations, especially health care facilities and the appropriated and non-appropriated segments of the U.S. military,” said Jim LaBelle, the company’s VP of marketing.

FireRoasters is a line of fully-prepared, thick-cut salmon, tilapia, pollock and cod fillets that have been flame-roasted and seasoned. Launched in 2010, the line includes Smoky Applewood Salmon, Asian Barbecue Salmon, Thai Basil Tilapia, Citrus Peppercorn Tilapia, Rustic Italian Cod, and Southwest Style Cod.
