DKSH Management, a Swiss-based market expansion group, on Wednesday announced that it is launching the Simply Bake range of “bake-in-a-bag” frozen fish fillets under the Tesco label.
The new range is available in four varieties — salmon fillets with lemon and dill butter sauce, cod fillets with tomato basil butter sauce, tuna fillets with lime and chili butter cause, and basa (pangasius) fillets with sweet chili butter sauce.
The range is packed in sealed oven safe foil bags with specially designed vents; the fish cooks in less than 30 minutes from freezer to plate.
Tesco and DKSH’s UK-based seafood division collaborated in developing the Simply Bake range. Earlier this year, DKSH launched the first frozen Marine Stewardship Council-certified mussels in Tesco stores across the UK.
