Bonefish Grill on Wednesday announced that it was awarded top honors in six categories in Zagat’s 2011 National Chain Restaurants Survey — Top Overall Restaurant, Best Seafood, Top Service in the full-service category, Top Food, Top Healthy Options and Top Facilities. The restaurant was also recognized for Most Popular and Best Appetizers.
“We are thrilled Bonefish Grill is once again recognized as the Top Overall Restaurant in the full-service category in the annual Zagat survey,” said John Cooper, president of the casual seafood chain, one of the United States’ largest. “Knowing our guests have enjoyed their experiences and ranked us at the top is a testament to all of our people throughout the organization.”
More than 6,000 ZAGAT.com diners participated in the survey, which included 137 of the nation’s largest restaurant chains, and weighed in on the quality of food, facilities and service using Zagat’s signature 30-point scale. The survey participants eat at chain restaurants an average of 10.7 times per month.
Bonefish Grill was also recognized by Zagat’s during last year’s survey.
Owned by OSI Restaurant Partners of Tampa, Fla., Bonefish Grill operates more than 150 locations nationwide. According to Technomic’s latest “Top 500” report, the chain racked up sales of USD 417 million in 2010, up 6.6 percent from 2009.
