Gibbons Hired as Director of Media Relations at NFI

Gavin Gibbons is the new director of media relations at the National Fisheries Institute.

A former senior producer for Fox News Channel, Gibbons' NFI responsibilities include setting up interviews with association staff and the media and helping reporters with research.

"In a world of mercury misinformation I am busy trying to get the correct fish facts out there," Gibbons says.

This is Gibbons' first foray into association work after working more than a decade as a television producer. He previously worked in local television and for MSNBC's "Hardball with Chris Matthews".
