Harbor Seafood partners with Carrington Foods

Harbor Seafood, Inc. of New Hyde Park, N.Y., has partnered with Carrington Foods, Inc. to be its dedicated sales and marketing arm for Carrington’s foodservice product lines.

Carrington Foods of Saraland, Ala., will manufacture some of Harbor Seafood, Inc.’s favorite value-added items. This partnership will help bring Harbor Seafood and Carrington Foods into a position to attract more customers and increase its market share by utilizing a nationwide broker network and foodservice team.

The dedicated foodservice division is staffed with seafood veterans, a sales force that has culinary expertise to help drive and maximize sales and support to the customer and end users. The partnership will also provide national warehousing to help eliminate minimum orders for Carrington’s customers.

Harbor, which specializes in pasteurized crabmeat, lobster, snow crab, king crab and surimi, is set to assume Carrington foodservice orders within the next few weeks.
