High Liner packaging gets a new look

High Liner Foods on Tuesday introduced new packaging for its Pan-Sear Selects line of value-added frozen fish fillets.

The packaging was designed by Anthem Worldwide of Toronto. Anthem said it worked closely with the Nova Scotia-based seafood company to gain an understanding of its brand heritage to create a well-proportioned, clean package design expressing the look and taste of High Liner’s products.

“Anthem’s design solutions needed to convey a fresh and modernized look for the High Liner products. We communicated the premium nature of High Liner’s products by creating a smart white-space strategy that allowed us to easily introduce innovation, demonstrate consistent and clear communication, and reinforce the credibility behind the High Liner brand,” said Gary Oakley, creative director of Anthem’s Toronto office.

“The designs are fresh and light through the use of white,” he added, “with strong appetite appeal through the plated photography, while staying true to the High Liner brand equities.”

High Liner’s Pan-Sear Selects line includes Mediterranean Wild Pacific Salmon, Roasted Garlic and Herbs Haddock, and Lemon Pepper Sole.
