Joe's Crab Shack on Tuesday launched its "Summer Buckets" promotion and national TV advertising campaign.
Shot on-site at Joe's, the TV spots show how buckets of Joe's Signature BBQ Dungeness Crab, Peel & Eat Shrimp, Mussels Marinara and ice cold beer bring the promise of a good time, joining even the most unlikely pairs, such as a cop and a criminal and the devil and a priest.
To launch the campaign, the casual seafood chain partnered with Dallas advertising agency Slingshot to develop the new style and format.
"We are using a new style and tone unlike our previous ads," says Robin Aheam, Joe's VP of marketing and menu. "We want to illustrate the interactive and memorable experiences our customers create with a bucket of craveable crab, a cold beverage and a group of friends."
The ad can be viewed at both the restaurant's Web site, www.joescrabshack.com, and at www.vollmepr.com/joes.
Joe's Crab Shack operates more than 120 locations in 28 states.
