King and Prince Seafood has added nori sheets (seaweed) packaged in its Sushi Bob product kits. This allows the company to offer a complete, turn-key approach for rolling sushi with all necessary components.
The kits now contain 34 half-sheets of nori. The addition will cause the case price of the product to increase by USD 2.40 (EUR 1.85).
“We listened to our customers, and found some had difficulty sourcing nori, as it’s a unique ingredient,” said Mike Tigani, marketing director. “We are pleased to make this product even more user-friendly by including nori in our sushi kits. This offers operators a turn-key approach to serving high quality sushi while yielding higher profits.”
