King & Prince Seafood’s line of flavor-infused fish fillets have earned an Excellence in Innovation Award from Prepared Foods magazine.
The award honors creativity and outstanding product development teams and King & Prince was recognized for its success in combining back-of-the-house convenience with a flavor-infused process that ensures consistent flavor throughout the fillet.
The six-item line features two sustainable species, tilapia and steelhead trout, infused with five different flavors including Creamy Butter Herb, Fiery French Quarter, Korean Barbeque, Cracked Pepper & Lemon and Sweet Hawaiin Teriyaki. The cooked fish retains its moisture in a chafing dish for up to two hours.
