Quiznos launches numerous LTO lobster menu items

Just in time for Lent, quickservice sandwich chain Quiznos has launched four menu items featuring lobster.

According to the chain, the number of consumers eating fish on Fridays during Lent increased 20 percent from 2011 to 2014.

"We know our guests look forward to Quiznos lobster promotions at this time of year and we try to surprise and delight each year with a new offering" said Susan Lintonsmith, Chief Marketing Officer. "Last year, we launched our new pasta platform and featured our Lobster Mac & Cheese during the Lenten seafood season. This year, we're excited to offer our new Lobster Ciabatta sandwich. We continue to listen to our guests and push for delicious innovation in our product offerings."

Quiznos limited-time offers include:

Lobster & Seafood Salad Ciabatta – fresh chunks of high-quality, tasty lobster claw, topped with crisp seasonal greens and served on Quiznos signature Ciabatta bread.

Lobster & Seafood Salad Sub – fresh lobster and crisp seasonal greens, served on Quiznos butter-toasted artisan bread.

Lobster & Seafood Fresh Salad – Served on a bed of crisp lettuce, lobster and fresh, diced tomatoes accented by Quiznos signature Buttermilk Ranch dressing and a lemon wedge.

Lobster Mac & Cheese – Cavatappi pasta with Romano Parmesan, Provolone and Fontina cheeses, topped with delicious lobster pieces and Quiznos hand-made breadcrumbs.
