Red Lobster, Long John Silver’s bring back shrimp, lobster promotions

Long John Silver's new Norway lobster promotion.

Red Lobster is bringing back its Ultimate Endless Shrimp promotion, while Long John Silver’s is re-introducing the “fan-favorite” Lobster Bites.

Long John Silver’s returning Lobster Bites are made with Norway lobster supplied by Vernon, California, U.S.A.-based Red Chamber, a Long John Silver’s spokesperson told SeafoodSource.

“With the savory sweet taste of our crispy breaded Lobster Bites, guests reel in great value with bite-sized pieces of lobster at fast food prices,” LJS Senior Vice President of Marketing and Innovation Christopher Caudill said.

Guests can order Lobster Bites with any meal as a side by adding on a Lobster Bites Tail Back, or order the Lobster Bites and Fish Combo or the Lobster Bites and Fish Platter.

LJS customers can also “feed the entire family” with the Lobster Bites Family Feast, featuring an eight-piece meal of batter-dipped fish or chicken tenders with two Lobster Bites Tail Packs, LJS said in a press release.

Meanwhile, Orlando, Florida, U.S.A.-based Red Lobster is featuring a new Parmesan-Bacon Shrimp Scampi dish made with Argentine red shrimp as part of its Ultimate Endless Shrimp promotion.

Guests can choose two shrimp preparations to start, and when they are gone, order additional shrimp dishes one at a time, Red Lobster said in a press release. Each Ultimate Endless Shrimp meal is accompanied by a choice of side and unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits.
