Red Robin dives into seafood with crab cake burger

U.S. gourmet hamburger chain Red Robin is launching its first seafood option, the Wild Pacific Crab Cake Burger, made from tender jumbo lump, blue and Pacific snow crab, crisped to golden perfection and then topped with arugula, roasted garlic aioli, oven-roasted tomatoes, lettuce, Parmesan cheese and served on a caramelized ciabatta bun.

“We wanted to make waves and push the culinary envelope by creating a premium seafood offering that packs the same powerful flavor as our other top-of-the-line beef burgers,” said Denny Marie Post, Red Robin's senior VP and chief marketing officer. “The Wild Pacific Crab Cake Burger brings an added dimension to Red Robin's Finest, and we can't wait to see how our guests respond!”

The casual dining restaurant chain based in Greenwood Village, Colo., operates more than 500 Red Robin restaurants across the United States and Canada.
