Ruby Tuesday recognizes tilapia supplier

Regal Springs Tilapia recently announced that it received a quality assurance award from Maryville, Tenn.-based Ruby Tuesday.

Bradenton, Fla.-based Regal Springs has worked with the casual restaurant chain for a decade.

Ruby Tuesday said in a statement Regal Springs has a passion for food safety, consistent quality and sustainability, and that its open, real-time communication regarding quality and supply through emails, phone conferences and newsletters has been the key to their successful partnership.

Ruby Tuesday menus the supplier’s tilapia in four different entrées, with an average of 7.5 million customers eating them annually. The company operates about 700 restaurants, mostly in the United States.
