Aramark on Wednesday announced that seafood will be featured on the menu at the 2010 National Hockey League Winter Classic at Fenway Park in Boston on New Year’s Day.
The menu for this year’s game between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers will feature items distinctive to both region, including New England clam chowder and lobster rolls in honor of Boston. Philadelphia cheesesteaks will also be on the menu.
“In addition to dressing warm, fans should remember to bring their appetites to the NHL Winter Classic,” said Kevin Haggerty, Aramark resident district manager for Fenway Park. “The uniqueness of this event gives us the opportunity to create a menu that is representative of hockey, the great tastes from Boston and Philadelphia and the very best of Fenway Park to provide fans with a memorable and fulfilling experience.”
