Seafood Prix d’Elite deadline approaching
One week to go. The 11th annual Seafood Prix d’Elite new product competition is accepting entries through 15 February.
The winners will be unveiled during a reception at the European Seafood Exposition in Brussels, Belgium, on 3 May. Click here to submit an application. There is no entry fee.
In addition to the two grand prizes, five special awards will be presented for originality, convenience, health and nutrition, retail packaging and seafood product line.
Last year’s Seafood Prix d’Elite grand-prize winners — selected from a field of 43 finalists representing 14 countries — were Prins & Dingemanse for its Oyster Tasting Platter and Grant’s Smokehouse for its MacKnight’s Smoked Salmon Bacon. The other winners were Dish Hospitality, Heiploeg Group, Krustagroup and Seachill.
Seafood Prix d’Elite is organized by Diversified Business Communications of Portland, Maine, which also runs the European Seafood Exposition, International Boston Seafood Show and Asian Seafood Exposition and publishes SeafoodSource.com and SeaFood Business magazine.
