Slade Gorton Launches Shrimp Marketing Campaign

Slade Gorton & Co. on Monday announced it is launching a major shrimp marketing campaign at the International Boston Seafood Show.

Slade Gorton staff has been meeting with clients to discuss new promotional efforts for its Icy Bay brand of shrimp products. Thus far, the only advertising has been in print.

The campaign will promote shrimp products, including head-on, raw headless shell on, cooked cocktail shrimp and IQF easy peel.

"Icy Bay Shrimp will be the first of up to 20 seafood products we will introduce over the next two years under the Icy Bay label," said Kim Gorton, Slade Gorton president, in a prepared statement.

All products under the Icy Bay brand will be guaranteed 100 percent net weight.

Slade Gorton has offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
