Grieg Seafood on Tuesday announced its WildWaters brand of smoked salmon and gravadlax has been launched in Tesco stores across Scotland.
Available in Tesco’s Lerwick location since late last year, WildWaters Smoked Salmon, Smoked Salmon Pastrami and Gravalax Limoncello is now stocked in 63 stores throughout Scotland.
Since the retail line was launched it has received two awards. It was awarded the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards seafood category and the pastrami product won the fish category of the Quality Food Awards in 2009 and is up for the same award this year. In addition, the line has been short-listed for three more awards in the Williamsons Highlands & Islands Food & Drink Awards.
Select Tesco locations will also be sampling the WildWaters products between 7 October and 25 November.
