Edmunds, Washington, U.S.A.-based Keyport LLC has announced that it has appointed Mark S. Clark as the company’s new director of sales.
The move, Keyport said, was made in order to drive the expansion of the company’s consumer packaged goods as the company looks to expand its prepared seafood meals – including its Wild Choice line of wild-caught frozen seafood entrées – nationally. Clark has three decades of experience in the food and grocery industries.
“We are thrilled to have an industry veteran such as Mark join our team to support the growth and development of our consumer packed goods on a national scale,” Keyport President and CEO Mark Pedersen said in a press release. “His vast industry relationships and long track record of driving sales and launching new brands will be invaluable to our expansion.”
Clark previously worked at Seattle Gourmet Foods, where he was the vice president of business development directing sales for 10 brands in the company’s national grocery and specialty accounts. Before that, he held positions at FreshDirect, Drugstore.com, and The Kroger Co. as direct or sales. All told Clark has decades of experience in business development, sales leadership, and management in the retail, grocery, and food industries.
