2025 Seafood Expo Asia set to unlock new business opportunities in Singapore

The 2025 iteration of Seafood Expo Asia will take place 10 to 12 September as the show returns for its fourth consecutive year in Singapore.

The three-day event will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, where seafood professionals from around the world can gather to explore new business opportunities, conduct face-to-face meetings, and learn about trends in the Asian market. According to event organizer Diversified, the expo will gather seafood professionals and purchasing decision-makers from the catering, hotel, import, restaurant, supermarket, wholesale, and more sectors. “The uniqueness of this event is in its tailored approach to connecting worldwide seafood companies with the buyers they need to expand their business in the Asian market,” Diversified Vice President of Seafood Wynter Courmont said in a statement. “The event offers several onsite opportunities for exhibitors, buyers in the Asian market, and seafood professionals to develop deeper relationships in-person and discover new market opportunities to achieve annual business goals.”

Key Buyers and Hosted Buyers – qualified high-volume importers or buyers – can also take advantage of the expo’s Business Matchmaking Program, which helps pair seafood suppliers with source specific products for dedicated meetings during the event.

Returning countries participating in this year’s Seafood Expo Asia include Australia, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, France, Germany, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mauritius, Netherlands, Norway, Qatar, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam. Both Estonia and United Arab Emirates are joining as new participants, with Estonia, South Korea, Taiwan, and China hosting new national pavilions on the show floor.

The 13th edition of the expo will showcase companies from across the seafood and processing sectors.

Seafood companies participating at this year’s event include AquaChile, Blumar Seafoods, Fanny Bay Oysters, Ferme Marine de Mahebourg Ltd, Gadre Marine Export Pvt Ltd, Grupo Aquamar, Gumusdoga, Loch Duart Salmon, Marennes Oleron Oysters, Pacific Urchin Harvesters Association, Saint Kerber, South African Farmed Abalone Export Council, Ulka Seafoods PVT Ltd, Vinh Hoan Corporation, Yeam Seng Frozen Goods & Fishery, and Zalmhuys Group.

Processing equipment and other solution companies will also be on site, including BAADER ASIA PTE. LTD., D&D Electronics, Co., Ltd, GB Bernucci SRL, Jaw Feng Machinery Co., Ltd., JD5 Hygiene GmbH, Moon Environment Technology SDN BHD, Nantong Worldbase Refrigeration Equipment ZCo., Ltd., and Silikal GmbH.

In addition to company- and country-led areas, the exhibit hall will feature culinary demonstrations, a product showcase, product samplings, the Seafood Excellence Asia Awards, and an Oyster Challenge, according to Diversified. There will also be a conference program featuring top leaders in the seafood industry discussing technology updates in seafood processing, aquaculture innovations, sustainability, supply chain accountability, and other timely topics.
