Kjell Bjordal, COO of Cermaq’s feed division EWOS will step down 15 February 2013.
Einar Wathne will serve as acting COO from that date and a recruitment process for a new COO will now be initiated. Wathne has had various leadership positions in EWOS since 1993 and played a key role in the successful development of EWOS.
“The revenue has increased more than tenfold and the operating result has developed even stronger during the more than 13 years that Kjell Bjordal has led what is now Cermaq’s feed division,” said Jon Hindar, Cermaq CEO. “EWOS has become the global leader in the salmon feed marked. This is an achievement that deserves the highest respect, and I will thank Kjell for his significant contribution to Cermaq.”
