Culimer moves Chinese headquarters

Dutch seafood supplier Culimer on Tuesday announced that it moved its Chinese headquarters to Beijing’s Fengtai district.

The new headquarters is closer to the company’s biggest seafood market and distribution center in northern China, which will help improve efficiency by bringing supply nearer to demand, according to Culimer.

Beijing Culimer Seafood Im-Exporting Co. Ltd. supplies king crab, shrimp and tuna to the Chinese market.

“The seafood market and distribution centre are very important for the seafood industry in Northern China,” said Li Shuang, Beijing Culimer’s general manager. “The location of the new office allows us to have easy access to our stocked products, to our daily transportation and to the seafood market where part of the business takes place.”
