Experts optimistic about catfish exports to Russia

Vietnam’s catfish exports to the U.S. and Russia declined in the first seven months mainly due to technical barriers and anti-dumping tax.

The Vietnam Customs reported that as of mid July, Vietnam shipped nearly 892.83 million tons of catfish, or a year-on-year decrease of 2.1 percent .

In the reviewed period, the country earned over USD 160 million from exporting catfish to the U.S., down 24.2 percent against the same period last year.
