Findus division head resigns

Findus Group has announced Matthieu Lambeaux has resigned as CEO of the company’s Southern Europe division.

The seafood and frozen food company, based in Norway, declined to give a reason for Lambeaux’s departure other than “to progress with some entrepreneurial ventures outside of the Findus group.”

Company CEO James Hill noted Lambeaux has worked for the company for the past 15 years, and served as CEO of Findus Southern Europe for the past 9 years. He said Lambeaux led the division’s revenue to grow from EUR 70 million (USD 78.1 million) to EUR 300 million (USD 334.5 million), with key recent acquisitions including Lutosa of Belgium and La Cocinera of Spain.

“Matt leaves behind a strong leadership team and a business characterized by its innovation, speed and agility,” Hill said. “We would like to thank Matt for his contribution and to wish him the best in his future career.”

The company has not yet announced a successor for Lambeaux.
