In an effort to grow its finfish business, U.S.-based global seafood producer Keyport LLC has hired industry veteran Kelly Martin to head up sales and business development for the company’s salmon, finfish and retail packaged products.
Martin, who most recently served as the retail sales manager for North Pacific Seafood, also has ties to Icicle Seafoods, where he worked as a national account manager and a product manager.
“I am excited to be joining an entrepreneurial, rapidly growing company. Keyport has the resources and product vision to support continued sales growth,” Martin said.
Headquartered in Seattle, Wash., Keyport is best known for its crab production and distribution; top-selling species include King crab, snow crab, and Dungeness crab. The company has a global production capacity, with facilities in Alaska, Norway and Russia.
“We are excited to have Kelly join our team. Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our company and we look forward to having him drive our fin fish sales. We’re fortunate to have him join us,” said Mark Pedersen, vice president of sales at Keyport.
