Seafox Management Consultants Ltd. on Wednesday launched a service to help seafood companies access public funding for the growth and development of new products and services.
Located in the seafood-processing hub of Grimsby, the firm will offer a project development and management service for a range of funding opportunities relevant to seafood, including the European Fisheries Fund and the UK government’s Regional Growth Fund. Working with local, national and international clients, the firm will develop projects that secure funding and create new opportunities for seafood businesses.
Former funding specialist Liz Baghurst will service as director of the new service. Baghurst has extensive knowledge working with clients in seafood manufacturing and processing securing funding for investment projects. For the past seven years, she has worked as a funding specialist in local government economic regeneration departments and in project development within the education sector.
