Havfisk CEO resigns

Olav Holst-Dyrnes has resigned from Norwegian fishing company Havfisk, and accepted an offer to take over as CEO for Norwegian furnature group Ekornes.

Havfisk has over the last years gone through a transition from being a part of a vertical integrated seafood company, to being a pure harvesting company.

The company’s trawler fleet is modernized and recently the company took delivery of the last of three new built trawlers. The transition of the company has taken place in close cooperation between the board of directors, the administration and the employees and has resulted in a significantly strengthening of the company's operations.

“The Board wishes to thank Holst-Dyrnes for his effort in the period he has been the CEO and wishes him all the best in his new position,” said Frank O.Reite, chairman.

Holst-Dyrnes will leave his position by 30 November.
