Icicle Seafoods on Friday named Dennis Guhlke CEO effective 1 July. Guhlke succeeds Don Giles, who has served as the Seattle supplier's chief executive since 1994.
Giles, who has been with the company for 36 years, will continue to serve in an advisory role for the next three years.
"Through our years together at Icicle Seafoods, Dennis has repeatedly demonstrated not only his impressive business acumen, but also his deep understanding of this organization and the industry in which we operate," said Giles. "I put my full confidence in Dennis and I cannot wait to see the future of the company under his capable leadership. Simply put, he is the best person for the job and his promotion is part of the company's long term plan."
Also, Icicle named Brenda Morris as CFO, effective immediately. Prior to joining Icicle, Morris served as the COO and CFO of iFloor, America's largest online flooring retailer.
