Leonard LeBlanc told fishermen attending the annual meeting of the Western Gulf Fishermen’s Association Monday in Tignish, P.E.I. that the current system doesn’t work.
LeBlanc says his organization is willing to do what it can to “change what’s happening now.”
He says it would be nice to have a price before fishermen go fishing and added that having a price a week or two weeks into the season is “unacceptable.”
