Key Impact hires former High Liner sales director

Chuck Spencer, a foodservice industry veteran of 30 years and most recently the director of corporate accounts for High Liner Foods, has joined independent foodservice sales and marketing agency Key Impact Sales & Systems of Odenton, Md., USA as its VP-non-commercial sales.

Spencer began his career in foodservice in 1983 at J&J Snack Foods where he eventually became senior director of foodservice sales.

In 2003, Chuck joined Icelandic USA as national accounts manager for the non-commercial sales segment. In 2011, Icelandic USA was acquired by High Liner Foods of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada, and was appointed non-commercial sales manager.

Last year he was promoted to director of corporate accounts, responsible for the management of foodservice distribution and military sales, food management client agreements and GPO contracts.

Spencer attended St. Joseph’s University, Penn State University and the University of Central Florida and is a graduate of the National Fisheries Institute’s Future Leaders program.
