Management changes at Bristol Seafood

Portland, Maine-based Bristol Seafood has made changes to its management team.

Effective 1 January, Ray Swenton will serve as chairman and CEO, while partner and co-founder Darrell Pardy will move into the position of president. Long-time employee Jennifer Cyr will become CFO.

The changes come as a follow-up to the recent opening of Bristol’s operation in Cape Haze, Fla. The new office is run by industry veteran Joe Cooper, and Brian Pomerleau is serving as the company’s new sales and marketing manager.

Pomerleau is responsible for managing and growing Bristol’s customer network, leading the sales team and developing a strategic marketing plan. His primary goal will be to ensure that the sales team is well trained, organized and focused on quality and service to fully support the company’s vision.

“This is an exciting time for Bristol,” said Pardy. “After 20 years we are positioned well to move the company forward as a leader in the industry in responsible sourcing and producing quality assured products.”
