Mark Foods hires Lauren Enz as VP-business development

Mark Foods, a leading importer of wild caught seafood based in New York, announced on Wednesday that Lauren Enz will join the company on 22 January as VP of business development to further grow its business in the United States.

Enz brings 17 years of industry experience, having spent the last seven years with Darden Restaurant Group, most recently as director of seafood procurement. Prior to Darden, Lauren spent 10 years as VP of purchasing and sales at Midwest Seafood.

“Lauren’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge already makes her a key addition to Mark Foods,” said Barry Markman, president of Mark Foods. “We look forward to her helping us continue to improve meeting our customers and suppliers needs.”

Mark Foods supplies Chilean sea bass, Spanish octopus, pasteurized crabmeat, New Zealand mussels and scampi, sablefish (black cod), lobster and other high-end products throughout the U.S. and Asia markets.
