Motivatit Seafoods and Handy International on Monday announced a partnership.
The companies intend to leverage Handy's experience to explore new product forms for both oysters and crab, and to better support consumers.
"In our discussions with Handy, the possible advantages created by the alliance of our two companies was undeniably beneficial for both our current and future customers alike," said Kevin Voisin, VP of marketing and sales at Motivatit Seafoods. "We anticipate Handy will take us to a new level in product development, quality assurance processes, and in appropriately marketing our products to people who love oysters around the nation."
Handy International of Salisbury, Md., produces value-added crab, lobster, salmon and shrimp products.
Houma, La.-based Motivatit Seafoods is best known for its Gold Band Oysters line.
