Jørgen Kristian Andersen has stepped down as CFO at Marine Harvest, and, beginning 1 August, Ivan Vindheim will take over the position, the farmed salmon producer announced on Tuesday.
The change is a result of the need to locate the CFO with the rest of the group management at the company’s headquarters in Bergen, Norway. Marine Harvest’s office in Oslo will maintain group finance and some other group functions.
Vinheim formerly served as CFO for Lerøy Seafood Group. Vindheim is a state-authorized public accountant and a certified analyst. Previous to working at Lerøy, he was VP of finance as Rolls-Royce Marine.
