St. Petersburg, Fla.-based seafood company Newport International late last week announced that it restructured its management.
Gloria Marcantuono was promoted to executive VP. Formerly senior VP, Marcantuono has been with the company since 2001. Craig Hospodor was promoted to VP of sales after being director of sales since 2008. Previously executive director of marketing, Alex Malaguti is now VP of marketing. And Aaron Huckabee was promoted from quality assurance manager to director of quality assurance.
In addition to the promotions, Newport International also hired two employees. Thomas Smith, who has 20 years of senior level finance experience, joined the company as CFO, while Narin Biravong took on the position of sales manager.
Anjan Tharakan continues his role as president and partner, and John McGeough remains CEO.
