Nearly two months after announcing that it had agreed to merge their North Atlantic pelagic operations, Norway Pelagic ASA and Austevoll Seafood ASA unveiled on Wednesday that the deal has gone through.
The deal is valued at NOK 124.6 million.
Under the deal, Austevoll subsidiary Austevoll Fisk will be merged into Norway Pelagic, including Austevoll’s 25 percent stake in Shetland Catch Ltd.
As compensation, Austevoll will acquire an additional 2.7 million shares in Norway Pelagic, upping its ownership in the company from 33 percent to 43 percent.
