Prices of fresh Norwegian salmon exports for the week of 1 October to 7 October reached NOK 24.28 per kilo, up 1.2 percent from the previous week and the first increase since late August.
According to data from Statistics Norway, exports of fresh salmon totaled 17,312 metric tons (MT) for the week, a 6.2 percent decrease from the previous seven days.
Norway exported 1,461 MT of frozen salmon at NOK 28.41 per kilogram, up from 864 MT valued at NOK 29.30 per kilogram the previous week.
