The price of unprocessed tra fish has dropped by around VND 1,000 per kilogram after more than 20 days of staying at record highs, according to the An Giang Fishery Association (AFA).
Specifically, white-meat and yellow-meat tra, or pangasius, in An Giang Province sells for VND 27,500 to VND 28,100 and VND 25,000 to VND 25,500 respectively, said Nguyen Huu Nguyen, a member of AFA.
The price in Can Tho, Dong Thap and Tien Giang has also gone down to VND 27,000 to VND 28,000 for the white-meat type and VND 24,500 to VND 25,000 for the yellow-meat one.
