Phillips appoints foodservice VPs

Phillips Foods of Baltimore on Tuesday announced it appointed Scott Miller and Randy Spencer to new sales VP roles.

As VP of foodservice distribution, Miller will focus on managing foodservice distribution sales. He will build relationships and capabilities to increase services to end users through distribution and function as the point person for national distribution accounts, corporate buyer programs and marketing support in the distribution chain.

Spencer has been appointed to Miller’s previous position as VP of foodservice sales. He will concentrate on the foodservice sales efforts through Phillips’ corporate regional sales managers and nationwide network of foodservice brokers. Spencer will continue to lead the national account sales effort for the company.

“In today’s environment, we must be focused in order to realize future growth,” said John Knorr, senior VP. “Naming Scott Miller and Randy Spencer to these new positions will allow us to maximize their skills to better achieve business growth and results.”
