Preferred Freezer Services on Friday announced the opening of its first international cold-storage facility in Vietnam.
The cold-storage provider’s Ho Chi Minh City warehouse is part of its new international expansion strategy. The freezer is the first in a series of 12 planned to open throughout Asia over the next 3 years.
The fully automated facility has a 24,000 pallet-position capacity with its 8 million cubic feet of freezer space. With the addition, Preferred now operates a total of nearly 188 million cubic feet of refrigerated space.
In addition to the Vietnam facility, two warehouses are currently under construction in Shanghai, China.
