Frozen seafood provider Sea Delight has named a former Pescanova executive to handle its operations in Europe.
Sea Delight, based in Miami, Fla., USA, has hired Manuel Álvarez Dávila to be its managing director for Sea Delight Europe.
Prior to Sea Delight, Álvarez worked in a number of leadership positions in the seafood industry, most notably as director of international division for Spanish seafood giant Pescanova. He also worked for NPC as director of international sales and marketing in Saudi Arabia, and various other management positions at companies throughout Spain.
“Manuel brings his vast experience and knowledge of the European market in both retail as well as food service to the introduction of our products overseas,” said Sea Delight President Eugenio Sánchez.
