Sealord’s new logo, corporate identity

Sealord on Monday announced the launch of a new corporate identity. The company’s new logo made its first public appearance at the annual Maori Fisheries Conference in New Zealand.

The brand is the culmination of more than a year’s work and consultation with employees and stakeholders; it was developed by Maori artist Derek Lardelli.

Elements of the logo represent the company’s affinity with the Tangata Whenua and the seas that surround them.

The logo will be rolled out over time on all packaging, stationary, signage and vessels, and a new website will go live at the beginning of June.

“Sealord’s people have spent time developing our story — we have a proud history and we’ve been able to capture this and have a common understanding of yesterday, today and tomorrow,” said Sealord CEO Graham Stuart. ”Sealord’s new corporate identity reflects our values and our responsibility to the ocean that is so integral to our success.”

Sealord is one of New Zealand’s largest seafood suppliers.
